crunch time!
Broke as a joke! It sucks - but I'm actually at rock bottom. Which is a lovely place to be. The truth is - I barely operate when I feel like I'm being screwed. Things move very slowly and it's painful to do even the simplest of things. Evidenced by my recent struggles to achieve very much.
But given the fact that I'm left with no options in my arsenal of surviving brokeness... I must perform exceptionally.
The first thing on my mind today was my son Ariko. And what I have in store for him as far as opportunities go. I keep leaping forward to when I can interact with the lil man. Him replying - soaking in the fatherly wisdom I'll be dispensing.
So I kinda panicked thinking - gosh having a child to look after wasn't enough of a reality check to get me out of my funk. But having reached day 0 for any financial means. All bank accounts are bone dry... that's what it took - now to chase up payments!!
SO... a bit of good news. We have a tentative date for the construction project to resume. Monday! Lets hope & pray that things go our way.
AWS customer services are a super shitty..OMFG! I was on the line for 15 minutes - calling from South Africa to America (the most expensive phone rates in the world) and I'm not too pleased at being told I would receive a call back and they haven't given any indication that they will be in touch. They have my email - they have my phone - I've tried aws-in-africa@amazon.com and no joy has resulted from that attempt as yet.
I'll try call them again. I wish I wasn't so broke:(
Ok - I take it back - there is a reply - 30 mins later... I need a lil more chill in me it seams.
