Mangi's furniture instalations
awake @ 10am
slept at 4:45ish - the last time I checked the time... My body clock is warped and I need to get back to a normal sleeping pattern.
anyhow - Mangi sent the deposit to make his built in furniture so Marshal and I are going to go cut some wood and then when we get there tomorrow - I'll guage how big of a job it will be to do the paving he has asked us to do.
I still need to wake - feeling grogy. and I just noticed how fat my ass looks in these pants. TOo late to change - gotogo.
I got a job designing a logo for a really awesome guy who works at Absa by the name of Elroy. Too young to be married if you ask me - but he claims that he married his best friend - lol - so good for him!
He wants a face or caricature with the emphasis on a reflection of Faith Works on the shades. I'm not altogether clear how he wants to incorporate the city skyline - but yeah - should be interesting. I wonder how it will turn out. Probably going to try it in Illustrator first before going through to photoshop. I wish corel was working - but screw that ish. I need to send the man a quote.
I also need to figure out if my boy Naison knows I'm going to be charging him. I'll send him a quote as well and see what he says.
I havn't forgotten about the trusses for Cool Runnings. I'm researching - doing me some learning on how it should work on the 2011 interface - including how to model it with parametric references and such so that I can tweak it. I not 100's if that's not the right way to describe what I'm talking about, but I think so.
I think I shall get corel to work first before any design work can go on today. I want to use it 'coz it dimensions. I don't think the other programs do it. Maybe I should find out first. Google time.
