Traction vs distraction

I want to make traction on increasing inter-Africa trade and I'm going to do it any way that I can. I'm frustrated with my current position. I have to accept The Edge Effect is not yet credit worthy and don't have a healthy enough track record to bank on.

So what!?

I've sent out messages to chocolate makers in Ghana - thinking that they would get back to me excited to get their product to South Africa but alas. I think I need to be Mr Money Bags and purchase product on my own.

If I had the money I would take a chance on the idea. I watched the Black Godfather last night and I realise that I am not doing anything that hasn't already been done before. I know it can be done. I was wondering if I was leaning too much on relationships getting me to where I need to gett to.

I have been banking on the idea that I will make some money in the commodity space and organically expand into the space but it's not happening.

So note to self - find another way!!

First of all THIS IS AFRICA #TIA... Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Sudan, Togo & Uganda are in the top 10 of the worst performing countries in the world in terms of democracy and freedom. With respect to the AFCTA agreement Eretria didn't sign the agreement. Does that mean I can't trade there. We shall see.

The second idea I have it to find car manufacturers in Africa and market that shit. Or those motorcycles that are manufactured in Africa - can't remember where off the top of my head.

I will use what I have... I have Wegotcha & the Edge Effect.

I will start by making a stamp to put on products that fit my rules of African Origin.

Good enough - the butterfly idea needs some work. But I will pay someone to do it for me. I don't have the time. This will do for now.

Next I think I'll make a product list of African products so I can contact and negotiate pricing & start advertising.
