Errands
Sorry to all the people who have ever landed on this blog. I noticed there are way too many people in the stats that are checking this out. I am not in any way attempting to make a literary concise blog that is full of awesome.
I imagine one day - I will look back on this and sort of get a sense of what was going on. But, knowing what I am usually looking for when I'm looking for information - my half-thoughts are not worth reading.
It would take too much time for me to create a journal of substance. So it's not going to happen.
I'm going off of what a friend told me, indicating that there is a chance this could be halfway decent if I update more consistently. I'm going to give that a crack.
Its less busy now. I've sorted out my uncles house - which should be back from the engineers soon. I'm going to have to get it signed off and the forms filled out and hopefully by the end of this week have it all done and dusted.
The rabbitry looks fantastic - given the fact that it used to be a free range thing - but now there are roughly 3 rabbits on the floor and the rest are in breeding pens that will increase the mortality rate of the baby bunnies.
Moses is officially the first client to purchase rabbits. I think it's time I set up the company proper and get a website and get some marinades from my chef friends so I can approach the Chisa Nyama peeps and get this show on the road.
I still need to work out how to look after the rabbit pelts. I have managed to keep the pelt clean and I salted it and now I need to work out how to stop the fur from falling out. I'm pretty sure that I will have to purchase some not so good for the environment chemicals to treat it - but I hope that there is a way. When in doubt - look to the past. They used to do it somehow right? Old tech is always the best if the modern equivalent is harmful.
I really want to know what the next step is with the property next door. I should holla and find out what the bank ended up saying.
There have been several crime incidents in the neighbourhood over the last couple months with someone getting attacked - robbed - dogs poisoned almost every day. If it wasn't for Grant being a nut job insomniac who patrols the farm every night at 2 hour intervals - I'm pretty sure that we would have been targeted by now. I can't wait till we get the electric fence up - but that's only going to be erected once this property next door is purchased. My lawyer Shermah thinks he can have a part to play in raising the funds - but I would rather keep our shit separate. I need to maintain autonomy.
I'm still waiting on the contract from him - and I've been slaving away putting our presentation together for a measly 1% but half a loaf is better than none and I'm sure we are going to do many great things together, even if I'm only getting 1% of this awesome eWellness solution that is going to change the way Health is dealt with here in South Africa.
Once we finish the presentation and the designs for the eLounge and everything else I should prepare myself to work like a $2 whore with a $20 hairstyle. Website and other marketing ish needs to be done and dusted asap.
I shall share more of this later - as it requires a whole post to do it any form of justice as Shermah really devised a comprehensive wellness solution that boggles my mind, and I can't wait to see how one actually runs that many companies without losing their shit.
HMS wise - I wish Reza could help me out faster. I bought the correct item to ensure that SEO are done correctly and it's infinately adjustable when it comes to making the changes that are inevitably going to occur as time goes by - but there is no action happening - and I'm now wondering if I shouldn't go ahead on my own and have him fix what I cock up. He had a lot to say about the existing webpage and made me understand why I was failing to make the changes I was struggling to make SEO and page wise. But now I'm eager to get this ball rolling and make some waves.
Then there is the student housing project that I'm sure is going to take a while to get off the ground since we have to deal with zonning issues... But this will lead to many good things and I've made sure that everything is going to go smoothly from start to finish. I can't wait to have both of the student housing projects (same client) done. I've sent through a quote - just waiting for the deposit and the show can go on its merry way.
I start working out tomorrow in earnest. I shall keep a log, and hopefully have some result after a month. Fingers crossed.
